Ingredients
Scale
3 medium Apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Fuji)
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 sheet Puff Pastry (thawed if frozen)
1 tablespoon Egg Wash (or plant-based milk with maple syrup)
Instructions
Wash and peel the apples. Core and slice them into thin sticks, about 1/4 inch thick.
In a bowl, combine the sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Toss until the apples are well coated. Let them sit for about 10 minutes.
If using frozen puff pastry, allow it to thaw for about 30 minutes. Roll it out on a floured surface until it’s about 1/8 inch thick. Cut it into rectangles.
Place a few apple sticks on one end of the pastry rectangle. Roll it up tightly, sealing the edges with a little water.
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C). Brush the tops of the rolled apple sticks with the egg wash.
Place the apple sticks into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
Once done, carefully remove the apple sticks from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
